- It is interesting how caustic the Internet is... funny that most request
- for our software for download does come from Internet users. Do people in
- this group only use products that are not commercial? I doubt it. We make
- no money from people downloading our software, and there are no
- restrictions in the evaluation software: it does not time out, it is not
- limited.
-
- We have been receiving major magazine reviews -- PC Week, PC Mag, Success
- Magazine, Mac Week, Mac User, Computer Shopper, Inf Week, etc. -- at a
- rate of about 2 a month, and we are now used as the basis of Kinko's Inc.
- World Wide Kinkonet service -- which plans a user base in the millions--
- which truely has caused our phones to ring, ring, ring. Many, many of the
- calls have been from technical people who have wanted to have evaluation
- copies of FreeMail... and since FreeMail is a MODEM based communication
- system that lets users set up their own private WAN, we don't understand
- why you think we are spamming you.
-
- Again, sorry if we have offended you. Our intent is only to share
- technology that has been called "Goof-proff" by computer technology,
- "criminaly easy to use" by Mac Week, etc. etc.
